    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a silver halide color photographic photosensitive material having high sensitivity, ensuring little density change and little gradation change due to residual color of a sensitizing dye, and excellent in processing stability. SOLUTION: The silver halide color photographic photosensitive material has at least one each of red-, green- and blue-sensitive silver halide emulsion layers on a transparent support, wherein the silver halide color photographic sensitive material contains at least 1×10 -5 mol/m 2 , in total, of a sensitizing dye represented by formula (I-a) in the red-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer, and density of an absorption maximum at 600-650 nm which appears as residual color by formation of an associated body of the dye is ≤0.02. In the formula, V19 represents a hydrogen atom or a substituent; R13 represents alkyl; M12 represents a charge balanced ion pair; and m12 represents an integer of ≥0 required to neutralize electric charges within a molecule.
