    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exposure controlling mechanism for camera which regulates the maximum optical path area of object light independent of an opening part of ground plate and is suitable for reducing cost and making the thickness thinner. SOLUTION: A main ground plate 1 arranged on the object side and an auxiliary ground plate 2 arranged on the imaging surface side are thick and are made of synthetic resin and, between the main ground plate 1 and the auxiliary ground plate 2, a diaphragm blade 9, a shutter blade 7 and a shutter blade 8 are arranged in order from the object side. Further, a large circular opening part 9b and a small circular opening part 9c are formed on the diaphragm blade 9 and the opening part 9b regulates the maximum optical path area of the object light. As a result, the opening part 1a of the main ground plate 1 is allowed to be larger without interposing a specified member, therefore, the reflected light on the edge surface of the opening part 1a is not guided to the imaging surface, and the cost-reducing and the thickness between the ground plates 1, 2 can be reduced.

    • PURPOSE:To eliminate a tailing phenomenon by providing a rotary shutter mechanism having a slit shutter plate inserted in an optical path reaching to an image pickup element from an optical system and a member reflecting light incident to a photometric element. CONSTITUTION:A CCD drive circuit 92 receives a synchronizing signal from a synchronizing signal generating circuit 91 and applies a sensor gate pulse SG to a CCD80. Its output is amplified by a preamplifier 93 and transmitted from a terminal 95 via a video signal processing circuit 94. A shutter plate slit position detecting circuit 98 of a rotary shutter mechanism receives an output of a slit position sensor 99, differentiates it and forms a shutter full open pulse and gives it to a motor servor circuit 96 and a strobe control/photometry circuit 100. The photometry element 103 integrates a reflected light from an object 104 during lighting of a strobe and applies an output to the circuit 100. A direct photometry element 105 connected to the circuit 100 receives a reflected light from a reflecting member 106 and applies its integration output to the circuit 100.

    • PURPOSE:To make a slit adjusting mechanism compact, and to adjust a slit with a high accuracy by turning a planet gear by an external operation and making it interlock with one of rotary plates, so that a width of the slit can be adjusted. CONSTITUTION:When an arm 8 whose one end is fitted loosely to a revolving shaft 7 of a platen gear 5, namely, the center shaft of a composite gear 2 is made operable manually or automatically through a simple transfer mechanism from the outside, and the arm is turned round the center axis of the composite gear 2, the second planet gear 5 revolves and moves, turning centering around a sun gear 4a, and an internal gear 6 engaged to the second planet gear 5, and the second rotary plate 10 are rotated by a prescribed quantity, by which a slit position of the second rotary plate 10 against a slit of the first rotary plate 9 is varied relatively, and the slit width is varied. In this way, a slit adjusting mechanism can be contained compactly, and a speed of a shutter bead can be adjusted exactly by an angle operation of a high accuracy.
