    • PURPOSE:To enable the measuring of frequencies of two waves close in the frequency inputted simultaneously, by arranging a circuit for detecting amplitude within a pulse, an amplitude detection circuit, an output level selection circuit and a frequency detection circuit. CONSTITUTION:An input signal 1 passes through a filter bank 2, an A/D converter 3, a channel selection circuit 4 and a frequency calculating circuit 5 and a calculated frequency 8 is given as output. At the same time, the output is branched to a circuit 9 for detecting amplitude within a pulse from the filter bank 2 to measure the max. and min. amplitude values within the pulse. Then, an amplitude detection circuit 10 detects the amplitude level of two waves simultaneously inputted. Subsequently, an output level selection circuit 11 selects amplitude levels of two waves of filters from adjacent filter outputs and a frequency detection circuit 12 detects frequency 13 of two waves close to each other.

    • PURPOSE:To detect frequency directly by a computer in which calculation is made using the voltage at both ends of a serial resonance circuits that consists of a reactor, condenser and resistance and the voltage at both ends of a resistance. CONSTITUTION:A serial resonance circuit 11 that consists of a reactor 8, condenser 9 and resistance 10 is connected to an AC voltage source 7, and the voltage V1 at both ends of a resonance circuit 11 and the voltage V2 at both ends of a resistance 10 are sampled at a preset period and the values of sampled voltages at the times t0 and t0-T (T is period) are respectively detected. Next, after those voltage values are A/D converted, it is input to the input circuit of CPU. The calculation circuit in the CPU that has received this input conducts calculation according to the FormulaIand based on the positive or negative state of the result the frequency of the electric power source 7 is detected. In this way frequency can be directly detected by a computer system.

    • PURPOSE:To enable input frequencies to be automatically detected by controlling a frequency setting means by the output of a counter circuit in a facsimile. CONSTITUTION:An FF 21 and a counter circuit 25 are set by a set pulse 22. This causes the S1 of a multiplexer 26 to go ON to ground R1 of a resistance network 27, then the center frequency of a BPF 12 becomes f1. When the input signal 11 of a frequency fm is applied, a voltage comparator 18 does not operate and therefore the low frequency signal 24 passes through a gate 23 and advances the count output of the circuit 25 by 1, then the S2 of the circuit 26 goes ON and the S1 goes OFF to ground the resistance R2. The center frequency of a BPF 12 then becomes f2. From this point on, when the resistance Rm is grounded in a similar manner, the center frequency of the BPF 12 becomes fm and by the output thereof the FF 21 is reset and the gate 23 is closed, thus from the count output of the circuit 25 the input signal frequency may be known.
