    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a handle for a archery which is free from an internal defect and light in weight and has a high tenacity and a high strength by a method wherein a member to be machined which is constituted of a bar-shaped aluminum alloy material is heated and then molded into a handle forming member in a desired shape of three- dimensional curved surfaces by high-pressure press molding and window holes and rim insertion holes are formed by cutting subsequently. SOLUTION: On the occasion of manufacturing a handle part 1 which has rim insertion holes 2 having box-shaped sections in the opposite upper and lower ends 1a and 1b and wherein a plurality of window holes 1A-1H for lightening are bored in piercing states, a member to be machined which is constituted of a round bar of an aluminum alloy material is heated at the temperature of about 500 deg.C. This heated member is subjected to hot forging by pressing it roughly by the first high- pressure press molding and then by finishing it by the second high-pressure press molding and thereby a handle forming member in a desired shape of three-dimensional curved surfaces is molded. Next, the window holes 1A-1H for and rim insertion holes 2 are formed in the handle forming member by NC machine cutting, surface finishing such as grinding and coating is conducted and thereby the handle part 1 desired is completed.
