    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize the frequency of used fuel changing and to place a power plant in stable operation by controlling the feed amount of gas so that a curve showing the cumulative value of the amount of gas fed by a gas holder becomes a polygon included in a beltlike area. SOLUTION: For various energy such as LDG(converter gas), COG(coke furnace gas), BFG(blast furnace gas), steam, etc., the gas holder GO is installed so as to absorb unbalance between a generation side and a use side, and placed in operation between the upper and lower limits of facilities. Therefore, the holder when exceeding the limit is placed in diffusing operation. The electric power unit price is different between daytime operation and nighttime operation (high in daytime and cheap in nighttime), so LDG, COG, and BFG are used more in daytime and reduced in nighttime. Namely, the gas is used to the lower limit of the holder 20 in the timing from daytime to nighttime and stored up to the upper limit of the holder 20 in the timing from the nighttime to daytime, thus operating the power plant stably.

    • PURPOSE:To enlarge capacity by forming a water storing part between an inner and outer water tanks of upward opened cylindrical shape, forming a gas tank with an elevatable inner tank surrounding the inner water tank, and providing an inner roof elevatable in horizontal state and a flexible membrane holding the airtightness of the inner water tank with the inner roof. CONSTITUTION:When an inner roof 21 is positioned on the end of ascent stroke, a gas tank 10 is ascending based on the detected signal 34 of a height meter 30 and the detected signal 35 of a pressure detector 32, pressure in a gas chamber 20 is judged with a control device 40 to be reached the maximum pressure at ascent of only the inner tank 9, a discharge operating valve 29 is opened and air in an airchamber 24 is exhaust to open air. The inner roof 21 is descended keeping horizontal state by a balance mechanism 22, when the inner roof 21 is judged to be reached on the end of descent stroke from the detected signal 36 of a position detector 33 with the control device 40, the discharge operating valve 29 is closed. As a result of this, volume of the gas chamber 20 is enlarged by descent of the inner roof 21 and storing gas capacity is increased. Hereby, the conventional dead space is effectively utilized as a storing space.
