    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lightweight device for holding a flow regulation plate, and supporting a turbine engine component, and to provide an attachment method of the plate.
      SOLUTION: This trailing edge box 32 of this turbine engine 10 utilizes a flow regulation plate 62 for creating a pressure difference across the trailing edge box 32 to support the box 32. The flow regulation plate 62 creates a pressure drop from the front to the rear of the trailing edge box 32, and as a result, a film of cooling air is generated on the surface of a flame holder 43. Slots 66, 72 for receiving the flow regulation plate 62 are formed in corrugations 40 formed on the trailing edge box 32. In a state that the plate 62 is inserted into the slots 66, 72, when an airflow passes through the engine 10, a force is resultantly applied to the flow regulation plate 62. Thereby the flow regulation plate 62 is stably supported.

    • The system comprises an outer annular chamber (6) between outer (3) and inner (5) walls, an afterburner chamber and a flame trap (20) with a series of equally-spaced radial arms (21) between the chambers. Each arm consists of a fixed rear section (22) and a forward section (23) which can be separated from the rear section by a lengthwise joint lying perpendicular to the axis of rotation. The forward sections of the radial arms are attached to a rotary ring (26) at the rear end of the outer wall which is turned by a control mechanism. The ring moved the forward sections of the arms between a first position in which the arm sections are joined together, and a second position, in the reheat mode, in which the front are rear sections alternate. Both sections of the arms are hollow and connected to coolant circuits carrying a secondary fuel flow.
