    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deduster which makes efficient treatment of treated water possible without discharging upper layer water containing many misplaced materials.
SOLUTION: The deduster which is disposed with screens in a water channel and removes the misplaced materials by this screen is constituted by stacking a plurality of divided screen bodies in a longitudinal direction to form the screens and mounting the divided screen bodies with floats. The deduster described above is so constituted that the divided screen bodies of an upper stage are made to ascend and descend by accompanying the water level changes on the upstream side of the screens by the buoyancy of the floats, spacings are formed between the divided screen bodies of the upper stage and the divided screen bodies of a lower stage when the divided screen bodies of the upper stage ascend and only the middle layer water on the upstream side of the screens is discharged to the downstream side through the spacings.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To change a desert land to a cultivated land by transporting part of river water flowing in a high-rain area to a desert country for a long distance through a cylindrical water feed pipe submerged in the sea. SOLUTION: A dam for preventing sea water from mixing and water intake is provided in a river on the upper stream from the estuary, a pool 5 served also as a settling tank on a high place nearby the dam, and water taken from a water intake port by a storage pump is fed to the pool 5. Next a water feed pipe 6 is connected to the pool 5, and the river water flows in the pipe by head. Next the pipe 6 arrives in the sea through the pipe provided in the river, and sunk so as to contact with the sea bottom 8. The pipe in the sea is extended to a water receiving country at the depth of about 100 m, the pipe arriving on the coast of the water receiving country is again extended to the land while contacting with the sea bottom 8 to be connected to a pool 9 on the land, and water is distributed from the pool 9 to the destination of the water receiving country. Further, the wall thickness of the water feed pipe is set so that the buoyancy and the gravity of the water feed pipe are balanced with each other in the sea water. Hereby, a desert area can be planted with trees and the climate can be made mild.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To rapidly construct a temporary liquid storage facility which can be easily constructed and demolished by forming a plurality of mooring bodies at the bottom face of a liquid storage space formed by a revetment or a trench and connecting a cut off sheet and preventing the sheet from swelling. SOLUTION: Sandbags 2a with a belt sheet 2b are stacked on a foundation ground 1 to form a vertical retaining wall and a revetment 2 is constructed to define a liquid storage space 3 and a plurality of mooring bodies 4 are provided at the bottom face thereof. The whole inside wall face of the liquid storage space 3 is covered with a cut off sheet 5 to prevent water leakage. Both ends of a belt sheet wound up like a roll are overlapped and a high impermeability is secured by an adhesive or heat-welding to form the cut off sheet 5 having a specified height. In this time, the cut off sheet 5 is connected to the mooring bodies 4 to prevent the sheet 5 from swelling even if an upward external force acts on the cut off sheet 5 owing to the underground water pressure or the like. In this way, a liquid storage facility can be rapidly constructed even in an emergency immediately after a large earthquake.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove a deposit in a culvert type intake device including a conduit, and to supply good quality water stably for a prolonged term by installing backwash lines supplying jet flows to the inside and/or the outside of an intake section for a conduit and a peripheral section separated from the conduit at a specified distance. SOLUTION: When water in a water storage tank 15 is drawn into a conduit backwash line 12 piped to the inside and/or the outside of an intake section 11b for a conduit 11 under the state, in which a valve V16 is closed and a valve V15 is opened, and the valve V15 is closed suddenly, a jet flow is ejected from the perforated pipe section 12a of the conduit 11, and deposits on the inside are removed. When water in the water storage tank 15 is flowed continuously by opening valves V41a, V41b, V42a, V42b, V43a, V43b in a conduit peripheral backwash line 40 arranged to a periphery separated from the conduit 11 at a specified distance and branch pipes 41, 42, 43 and the valves V41b, V42b, V43b are closed suddenly, on the other hand, jet flows are ejected from perforated pipes 41a, 42a, 43a, and deposits in the peripheral section of the conduit 11 are taked off. Accordingly, water can be taken in and supplied stably.

    • PURPOSE: To effectively utilize the falling rain and cope with water differency by storing the rain water falling in a site where a house is built in the ground, and storing the rain water collected on the roof surface of the house in a water storage tank buried in the ground. CONSTITUTION: Rain water is collected on the roof surface of a house 2, and it is fed into a water storage tank 5 through a vertical trough and a by-pass pipe and purified. When water is sufficiently stored in the water storage tank 5, the selector valve of the vertical trough is switched by the signal of a pressure gauge, and water is scattered to the ground 4 from infiltrating valves 6. The other rain water slowly infiltrats into the ground 4 from the ground surface in a site 3 and the infiltrating valves 6 and is fostered. The rain water infiltrating a surface section 7 uniformly infiltrats and is stored in the ground 4 via the promotion of infiltration wells 9 for the upper soil layer and infiltration wells 11 for the lower soil layer. The water of the water storage tank 5 is pumped up through a lifting pipe and utilized for the air conditioning water, cleaning water, or drinking water according to the structure. When the water in the water storage tank 5 is exhausted, the underground water in a shallow well 14 and a deep well 15 is injected. Pressure gauges 17 are fitted to the shallow well 14 and deep well 15, and the underground water in the site 3 is pumped with good balance.
