    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the strength of a joint plate for rail endurable sufficiently even for tensile load and compression load in the direction of tightening bolt, in the direction orthogonal to the longitudinal direction as well as in the longitudinal direction. SOLUTION: This joint plate for rail 1 is formed by thermosetting resin reinforced by a fiber material and is arranged between end side faces of adjacent rails across them. Weight content of the fiber material is 65 to 75% of the total weight of the joint plate for rail, 60 to 70% of the total weight of the fiber material is constituted of a linear material 18 for longitudinal direction arranged so that it is oriented in the longitudinal direction of the joint plate fort rail 1, and 22.5 to 34% of the total weight of the fiber material is constituted of a sheetlike material 19 which has isotropy and is arranged along an outer face shape in the longitudinal direction in at least the joint plate for rail 1.

    • PURPOSE:To improve the function, by forming a joint plate with a fiber reinforced thermosetting resin and making the material to be anisotropic in the three axial directions crossing at right angles to each other and arranging it so that the in-plane elastic modulus ratio is specified. CONSTITUTION:In an ordinary joint plate, fibers like rovings composed of glass fibers or carbon fibers are mixed with thermosetting resin like unsaturated polyester to laminate them. Next, in an insulated joint plate, other fibers than carbon fibers having electrical conductivity are used. In this case, the material has the anisotropy in the three axial directions crossing at right angles to each other and it is arranged so that the in-plane elastic modulus ratio (axial elastic modulus/modulus in the direction crossing in right angles with the axis) gets to 1.5-3.0. And this pair of joint plate 2 is placed to straddle the side end faces of the adjacent rails 1 and fixed with bolts 3 or the like. Further, when the joint plate is used as an insulation joint plate, an insulative rail-form material is put in the clearance between the rails 1. In this way, a sufficient strength and insulation can be secured and also it can be made light and easily assembled.

    • PURPOSE:To increase the thermal extensive or contractive adjusting function, by interposing a spacer with a specified thickness into oval bolt holes of vertical plates of movable guide rails, when the vertical plates of guide rails are held and jointed by set plates and tap plates. CONSTITUTION:Respective vertical plates 3 of a fixed guide plate 1 and a movable guide rail 2 are held by set plates 7 and tap plates 8 and fastened with bolts 9, 10. Next, a thicker distance piece than the vertical plate 3 is inserted to be laterally movable in an oval hole formed on the vertical plate 3 of rail 2 and fastened with bolts 10 inserted therein. The thermal extension or contraction is absorbed by the clearance between the rail 2, the plates 7 and the plates 8. When the rails are used for adjusting the end position thereof, the thickness of distance piece is made thinner than the vertical plates 3 to securely fix it. Moreover, the lower end of yoke 11 for suspension of guide rails is connected to rails 1, 2 by use of bolts 9, 10. In this way, the thermal expansion can be securely adjusted and the number of parts can be reduced.
