    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize labor saving of the uniting work of a harness leash so as to be able to unit the harness leash with a coupling under a uniform tension easily and quickly while arranging the uniting positions. SOLUTION: This automatic uniting device for harness leash is device for uniting a harness leash 1 extended from the loom side with a coupling 2 connected to the side of a healed 7 and is constituted by a coupling holder 3 which keeps the ring shaped coupling 2 as an open mouth state and can freely be transferrable in the almost horizontal direction and can make a shuttle-like rotating movement around this transferring line within the prescribed range of the rotating angle, a rotary chuck 5 having a pair of chuck pieces 5A, 5B arranged at the opposite to the coupling holder 3 and rotatable almost around the transferring line and nipping the harness leash 1, a sliding rod 4 with a chuck freely transferrable in the vertical direction, having a chuck part 4A for the harness leash and freely transferrable between a penetrating position at the opening part of the coupling 2 held by the holder 3 and a retreating position in the downward direction, and a harness leash cutter means 6 cutting the excess part of the harness leash 1.

    • PURPOSE: To provide a compact jacquard control arrangement capable of being operated by an electromagnet having small magnetic force. CONSTITUTION: This electromagnetically activated jacquard control arrangement has many control elements and one lifting and lowering plate 7, and the many control elements are connected to each of the lifting and lowering elements. Each one of electromagnets having a fragment 21 is installed so as to correspond to each control element. A lifting and lowering board 7 is constituted so as to lift a lifting and lowering element 16 from a home position over an operation position to a selecting range, and to lower the element again, and the fragment 21 is constituted so as to be swung against the corresponding electromagnet 19 by a dog plate 29 interlocked with the lifting and lowering board 7. The supporting element 23 having each fragment 21 pivotally attached thereto is swingably supported with a supporting shaft 24 so that a partner hook 27 may be displaced in the outside of a moving locus of a hook 26 of the lifting and lowering element 16, or in the inside of the moving locus, and the hook 26 may be selectively engaged with the partner hook 27 retained at a prescribed height.
