摘要： PURPOSE:To provide a device capable of automatically examining degree of cleanness of yarn bundle in high accuracy and stably. CONSTITUTION:A draft transporting device 3 comprising a draft mechanism 3a for widening the top of yarn bundle into a sliver state and a pair of guide rollers 3b placed vertically is installed. An illuminator 4 for passing through and lighting the transported sliver is laid between the draft mechanism 3a and the guide rollers 3b. An image sensor 5 is set at a position opposing the illuminator 4 while laying the sliver between the devices. A static electricity removing device 6 for eliminating static electricity is laid in the vicinity of the guide rollers 3b. An image treating device 7 for handling the image signal from the image sensor 5 is set. A feeding mechanism 1 for releasing the top of the sliver in a ball wound state and supplying to the draft mechanism 3a is attached to the front of the draft mechanism 3a. A vibration imparting mechanism 2 for vibrating the top is laid between the feeding mechanism 1 and the draft mechanism 3a.
