摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a conventional method for getting silk protein inevitably lowers the molecular weight of silk protein due to heat treatment or the like, the silk protein, however, is easy to dissolve in water when the silk protein is lowered in molecular weight, so it can not be used singly when used as a modifier for gloves, accordingly, a fixing agent, treatment, or the like for fixation is required separately.SOLUTION: It is possible to process a glove without a fixing agent or without performing treatment for fixation using high molecular weight sericin liquid high in absorbability which is extracted by soaking silk thread in an ultrasonic vibrator tank using strong alkaline ionized water as a solvent in normal temperature state.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing raw silk from the cocoons of Bombyx mori with an expressed extraneous gene without impairing the properties of extraneous protein(s) therein.
SOLUTION: The method includes the following process: Cocoons are dried at a relatively low temperature of 60°C rather than dried at a 100°C or higher condition as is the case with normal production of raw silk from cocoons. Also, in boiling the cocoons, they are put to low-temperature and vacuum infiltration treatment (reduced-pressure treatment) rather than a conventional high-temperature treatment at 100°C or higher or a high-temperature treatment at near the boiling point. Also, as a cocoon-boiling method differing from the above, the cocoons are put to a combinational treatment of sericin swelling by alkali and hot-water infiltration into the cocoon layer by a surfactant, an enzyme or the like. Further, a silk reeling is conducted at a temperature lower than those in conventional cases. As a result, it has been found that the cocoons of Bombyx mori with an expressed extraneous gene can be made into raw silk without impairing the properties of extraneous protein(s) therein.
