    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a purified oxazoline compound efficiently by using a reactive distillation device and using an N-(hydroxyalkyl)carboxylic acid amide as a raw material.
      SOLUTION: This method for producing the oxazoline compound by feeding an N-(hydroxyalkyl)carboxyamide into the reactive distillation device and performing cyclodehydration is provided by using the reactive distillation device of which central part of the column is divided into a reaction part and distillation part, and having a structure of communicating the reaction part with the distillation part in each of the upper part and lower part of the column, and having a constitution of feeding the N-(hydroxyalkyl)carboxyamide into the reaction part filled with a solid catalyst, introducing the obtained reaction mixture into the distillation part, separately purifying the oxazoline compound at the distillation part and taking it out.
