    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rail type chemical agent spraying apparatus capable of reducing in the size and weight, and improving the handling by simplifying a structure of a traveling mechanism of a main operation machine traveling on a rail, and capable of easily laterally moving to the other operation rails.SOLUTION: The rail type chemical agent spraying apparatus includes the main operation machine 10 which travels on a lateral rail 2 (operation rail), in which a spraying nozzle 3 for spraying around is installed. The main operation machine 10 includes: upper wheels 12, 13 positioned at an upper side of the lateral rail 2, and having a flange which rolls on the upper surface of the lateral rail 2; a lower wheel 14 positioned at the lower side of the lateral wheel 2, and having the flange which rolls on the lower surface of the lateral rail 2; and a driving mechanism 15 having a driving motor for driving the wheels. The upper wheels 12, 13 have two wheels, and the lower wheel 14 has one wheel. The driving mechanism 15 drives at least one wheel of the upper wheels 12, 13 and the lower wheel 14.

A U-shape frame is laid on a frame placed with the transmission in a right and left direction, and a mounting base for placing the engine is pivotally mounted to a vertical part of the U-shape frame by a support shaft provided coaxially to the output shaft of the engine. A partial circular rack making the output shaft of the engine as a center is mounted to the mounting base, an attitude control pinion is engaged with the rack and attitude of the engine is horizontally controlled by driving the pinion according to the attitude of the engine.
