摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make inexpensive the cost of replacement of a sleeve for a printing cylinder deteriorated owing to a printing operation, in the case of a web offset printing press, particularly a variable cutoff type rotary press. SOLUTION: The sleeve for the printing cylinder, which is shaped like a cylinder and attached to the outer periphery of a core roll provided on the printing press main body side, consists of an inner peripheral layer 32 at least some layer of which is constituted of a layer 34 being elastic in relation to a radial load and an outer peripheral layer 31 which is closely fitted on the outer peripheral surface of the inner peripheral layer. The inner peripheral layer and the outer peripheral layer are made as separate bodies and constituted to be separable from each other. In the case of replacement of the sleeve the inner peripheral layer of which deteriorates, therefore, the inner peripheral layer is detached from the outer peripheral layer and the inner peripheral layer alone is replaced, while the outer peripheral layer can be used as it is.
