    • PURPOSE:To efficiently apply a marking of characters or symbols on products of a multikind and small lot without deteriorating the smoothness of a marking surface by a method wherein a medium applied with a thermally migrating ink is brought into close contact with the marking surface, a vibration energy is transmitted to the medium, and the ink is heated to a thermally transition temperature by a frictional heat. CONSTITUTION:A predetermined key top 7 is disposed downward of an ultrasonic generator 2. A film 1 is moved downwards by a drive mechanism to be brought into contact with a marking surface 7a of the key top 7. The ultrasonic generator 2 is moved downwards to press the film 1 to make the film 1 in close contact with the marking surface 7a. Then, ultrasonic waves are generated, and an ultrasonic vibration energy is transmitted to the film 1. A frictional heat is generated by this energy, thereby heating the thermally transition ink on the film 1 to a thermally transition temperature. The ink reaching the thermally transition temp. melts and transfers to the key top 7 which is in close contact therewith, furthermore penetrating into the key top 7. Then, the marking is completed.

    • PURPOSE:To apply clear screen printing onto a slanting plane of a bottle without giving specific modification to the structure of a printer, by a construction wherein the part of a screen frame corresponding to the neck side of the bottle is made to project obliquely in a large degree, and a curved surface part having a screen net stretched so that it can contact closely with the slanting plane in specified printing is formed on the lower side of said projecting part. CONSTITUTION:When a ridge line 42 on the right side of a slanting plane 40 reaches a position just above the axial line of a bottle, the right end portion of a curved surface part of a screen net 10 stretched on the lower sides of a first pendent part 2 and a second pendent part 3 starts to contact with the plane 40, and when the plane 40 comes to a position just above the axial line with further rotation of the bottle, a straight line which is the center of the curved surface part 11 is positioned on the center line of the plane 40. With further more rotation of the bottle, the left-side portion of the curved surface part 11 turns to contact with the left side of the plane 40. In the mean-time, the upper half portion of the curved surface part 11 is put continuously in sequential linear contact with the plane 40 of the bottle due to a pressing action by an oblique squeeze, and thus screen printing can be effected on the plane 40.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain the titled printing machine, which can perform printing at the optimum conditions on the side surfaces of circular cylinder shaped containers having various diameters of the drums and conical containers having different tapers, and wherein the slant angles of the drums, horizontal movement of the drums, and handling angles of the containers can be adjusted. CONSTITUTION:A slant angle A of a drum is adjusted so that the optimum printing pressure distribution and the optimum conveying conditions can be obtained with respect to the containers A having various conical surfaces. For example, variable turnbuckle 7 is provided. The adjustment of a drum height level B accompanied by the adjustment of the drum slant angle A is performed by a variable adjusting spacer 8 and the like. Horizontal movement C of the drum is adjusted by using a variable index handle 9 and the like so that the optimum pressure distribution can be obtained in correspondence with abrasion of the drum 4. A container handling angle D is adjusted by using, e.g. a variable long hole fixing bolt 10. At least two equal speed universal joints are used in a rotary transmission mechanism for the drum.
