    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing plate which enables printing work to be performed with a larger coating film thickness than conventionally known, as well as a printing plate cylinder and a printer. SOLUTION: The printing plate includes a cylindrical sleeve with a large number of microholes formed in the cylindrical surface of the sleeve, and a solid layer with a specified pattern created on the outside surface of the cylindrical surface of the sleeve. In addition, the printing plate is formed by a manufacturing method which includes the following stages: a resin coating stage to build up the solid layer using a resin in the way that the resin finds its way deep as specified inside the microhole of the sleeve; a resin polishing stage to expose the outside surface of the cylindrical surface of the sleeve and the opening part of the microhole by polishing the surface of the resin; a plating layer forming stage to form a metallic plating layer over the entire cylindrical surface of the sleeve; a finish polishing stage to polish the surface of the metallic plating layer; a resist layer forming stage; an etching stage; a resist layer removing stage; chromium plating layer forming stage; and a resin removing stage.
