    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure of a novel rotating device suitable as a trick-action type clock or a clock which can operate with a small driving force and has energy consumption lower than conventional ones and is superior in an appreciation nature of a mechanism operation. SOLUTION: The rotation device or the clock 1000 comprises a weight; a weight lift means 100 which raises the weight supplied at a downward position to an upward position; a rotation wheel 210 equipped with a plurality of the carrier sections 212 which can hold the weight along the periphery; an escapement mechanism by which the rotation wheel is moved intermittently. The weight lift means comprises a driver 110 which is equipped with a spiral-like driving face having horizontal or inclined axis; a rotation driving source which rotates the driver on the circumference of the axis. The weight can be driven by a driving face with the rotation of the driver and is translated from the downward position to the upward position by the weight lift means. The weight which is raised by the weight lift means into the upward position is supplied to the carrier sections in the upper part. Accordingly, after the rotation wheel is rotated by a predetermined angle, the weight which is ejected from the carrier sections is returned into the downward position in the lower part.
