    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photographic lens of a 2 groups 2 lenses construction where illuminance of the image surface is bright and variation in various aberrations can be kept down without narrowing the angle of the photographic image. SOLUTION: In this photographic lens 30, a lens surface 31a on an image side of a first lens 31 positioned on an object side and either one of lens surfaces 32a of 32b of a second lens 32 positioned on the image side are formed to be an aspherical state. When a focal distance of the first lens 31 is f1, a focal distance of the second lens 32 is f2 and radius of curvatures of the lens surfaces 31a and 31b of the first lens 31 are each named R1 and R2, by fulfilling each condition of |f1|>f2 and R1>R2, the image surface illuminance can be made bright while still securing a photographic half image angle of about 34 deg. and balance of various aberrations can be kept in a good state. Deterioration of curvature of the image surface where a sphere is imperfect can be kept down since the lens surface 31a on the object side of the first lens 31 is not formed to be aspherical. Therefore, the curvature of the image surface of the photographic lens 30 can be eased without enlarging the quantity of curvature of a film surface and color aberrations of magnification due to the curvature of the film surface can be reduced.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain excellent soft focus effect by composing the soft focus lens of a front group which consists of a positive and a negative lens and has positive power and a rear group which consists of a negative and a positive lens and has positive power in order from the object side and satisfying specific conditions. CONSTITUTION:The soft focus lens consists of the front group of 1-group of 2-element or 2-group of 2-element constitution which consists of the positive and negative lenses and has the positive power on the whole and the rear group of 1-group of 2-elements or 2-group of 2-element constitution which consists of the negative and positive lenses and has the positive power on the whole; and inequalities 1-3 hold. In the inequalities, rFF is the radius of curvature of the 1st surface of the front group, (f) the focal length of the whole system, P the Petzval's sum of the whole system when the focal length of the whole system is converted into 1.0, nu1 the Abbe number of the positive lens in the front group, and nu2 the Abbe number of the negative lenses in the front group. Consequently, the excellent soft focus effect is obtained.
