A first center upper wall rib (1b) includes a center upper wall first rib center portion (1c), a center upper wall first rib continuous portion (1d), and a center upper wall first rib thin portion (1e). A center bottom wall first rib includes a center bottom wall first rib center portion, a center bottom wall first rib continuous portion and a center bottom wall first rib thin portion.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain a pressure-resisting explosion-proof container having a large ratio of internal capacity to weight by providing a cylinder portion of the container, which is oval in section and is formed thicker at the longitudinal center wall portions thereof, and connecting the central wall portions to each other by a rib. CONSTITUTION:The sectional external form of a cylinder portion of a container 12 is substantially oval, and the central wall portions 12A thereof in the longitudinal direction X are formed thicker. The internal space forms a storing portion. The container 12 is provided with a substantially crescent rib 16 for connecting the longitudinal central wall portions 12A of the oval shape. A flange 17 having the substantially rectangular outer peripheral shape and a convex stepped engaging portion 18 at the longitudinal X edge is fixed to the opening end side of the container 12.
