摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combined water-wash and wet-compression system for a gas turbine compressor. SOLUTION: This combined system includes a compressor (12) having an inlet (24) defining a flow direction; a plurality of manifolds (38, 40, 42, 52, 54 and 56) arranged in proximity to the inlet and arranged transversely of the flow direction; and a plurality of dual function nozzles (46, 48 and 50) connected to the manifolds. Each dual function nozzle is adapted to supply, selectively, either relatively small droplets for introduction into the compressor for intercooling, or relatively large droplets for impingement on components of the compressor for cleaning the components. A method of introducing a liquid into a compressor inlet for providing water-wash for cleaning components of the compressor, and for providing wet-compression for intercooling is also disclosed.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for humidifying air supplied to a compressor, by using a measured value of condition of air/water upstream and an already known air flow rate passing through a turbine. SOLUTION: For increasing an output from a gas turbine, water drop mist is blown into air upstream a gas turbine compressor inlet. Water has action lowering down a dry bulb temperature of air advancing into the compressor inlet. For supplying a water amount suited for the atmospheric condition expected, a plurality of pumps of different capacity are provided to supply water over a wide range of a water flow rate. A control device for the pump avoids the use of a preset temperature relating to inlet air obtained from a measured value taken downstream of water injection. When desired relative humidity of air advancing into a compressor is input by an operator, the control device determines a suitable water flow rate by using the following measurements, that is, a flow rate of dry air to the compressor, a flow rate of inlet water, a dew point temperature of inlet air, a dry bulb temperature of inlet air, and a temperature of inlet water.

SOLUTION: In a gas turbine, a connection assembly 54 to connect the rear end part of the air duct 42 to the rear shaft 32 of a compressor contains a holding ring 56 disposed in the central opening hole 46 of the compressor rear shaft 32. The hold ring 56 is provided with a first set tub 62 extending in an axial direction and the air duct 42 has a second set tub 68 extending in an axial direction from a rear end part. The rear end part of the air duct 42 is disposed in the opening hole 46 and the first set tub 62 is positioned in relation to the hold ring 56 so as to mesh with the second set tub 68.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a moving blade of a rotary machine to reduce loss by leak flow passing tip clearance. SOLUTION: A center part of a blade end surface 11 is protruded outward to form a mountain form to have a larger clearance on the positive pressure side and the negative pressure side, and a smaller clearance at a middle part. The mountain shape comprises taper surfaces 11a, 11b on the positive pressure side and the negative pressure side, and a flat surface 11c between them. The mountain form may be a curved surface higher at a middle part and lower on the positive pressure side and the negative pressure side. The taper surface 11a (or taper curvature) provided on the positive pressure surface side moves a contracted vein position 14 to the negative pressure surface side, and distance between the contracted vein position 14 and a negative pressure surface becomes shorter, so mixing can be restricted. In addition, a position of the blade end surface 11 is moved inward by the taper surface 11b (or taper curvature) provided on the negative pressure surface side, so reattachment can be securely prevented. By synergistic effect of these, increase of tip clearance flow in a blade line of a relatively thick blade thickness can be prevented, thereby pressure loss can be reduced compared to that in devices of conventional form.
