When an opening/closing panel 18 is opened upward and the tip of the gas spring 34 is extended to make a reaction force approach zero, the upper end of the gas spring 34 is moved from a hinge 17 side end of the groove hole 31 at initial motion to the opposite-side end of the hinge 17 by an energizing force applied in a direction away from the hinge 17 and then stopped to support the fully opened opening/closing panel 18.
