    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tenacious pressure-sensitive adhesive composition which is provided with appropriate pressure-sensitive adhesive strength and tensile strength.SOLUTION: A pressure-sensitive adhesive composition is obtained by subjecting a urethane prepolymer having a plurality of at least one of an allyl ether group and a vinyl ether group, a monothiol having one thiol group, and a polythiol having a plurality of thiol groups to a photopolymerization reaction. A pressure-sensitive adhesive composition with appropriate pressure-sensitive adhesive strength is made obtainable by subjecting not only the polythiol but also the monothiol to the photopolymerization reaction with the urethane prepolymer. Additionally, a tenacious pressure-sensitive adhesive composition with high tensile strength is made obtainable by adopting the urethane prepolymer. Further, a step for adding heat or the like is unnecessary, and a solvent or the like is also unnecessary because the pressure-sensitive adhesive composition can be produced by the photopolymerization reaction. Thereby, suppression of capacity investment and space saving are achieved, and the situation very favorable to controlling hazardousness to a human body and environmental pollution or the like is made.
