摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify control for excitating to a solenoid when a magnet and the solenoid are moved relatively in the axial direction by controlling excitating/ non-excitating to the solenoid by means of a controller so that the magnet acts against a force received by a wheel side member from the outside. SOLUTION: When a solenoid 20 is excited via a driving circuit, a force suppressing relative movement between an upper case 8, to which a solenoid assembly 21 is fixed, and a piston rod 5, between a vehicle body and a cylinder 4, and between a lower arm is actuated by means of magnetic force of the excited solenoid 20 and magnets 18, 19. In addition, by means of a combination of the magnets 18, 19 and an inner circumference solenoid assembly 23 which is not excited, relative positions between the magnets 18, 19 and the inner circumference solenoid assembly 23, that is, inner circumference solenoids 22, to which the magnets 18, 19 face, in the inner circumference solenoid assembly 23 are detected, so that arrangement of another member such as a vehicle height sensor can be dispensed with.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To carry out the wiring to a coil adequately and easily, in a suspension device furnishing an air spring, and a device to control the relative movement by an electromagnetic force. SOLUTION: An air room AR is partitioned by supporting its upper end to the upper part of a piston rod 12, as well as supporting its lower end to the outer peripheral surface of a cylinder 11 by housings (20, 30, and 40) having the flexibility at least in the vertical direction, and surrounding a damper device 10. A coil assembly 60 consisting by winding plural coils 62 on the outer surface of a tubular bobbin 61 is housed airtight at the inner surface of an inner tube 31 by making the piston rod 12 as the axial center, and a magnet member 70 is supported to the cylinder 11 opposing to the inner surface of the bobbin 61. Between the inner surface of the inner tube 31 and the outer surface of the coil assembly 60, a communication passage 61e to communicate the outer part and a coil 62 is formed in a condition to cut off the communication with the air room AR, and a lead wire 63 connecting to the coils is pulled out to the outer side through the communication passage 61e.

SOLUTION: A vibration damping device according to this invention consists of a spring 5 (A), an actuator 4 (B), an actuator driving device and energy regeneration device 6 (C), and a vibration sensor 7 (D). The actuator 4 consists of an electromagnetic direct acting motor (E). In a region in which speed of the actuator 4 is high, damping is applied due to electromagnetic power generation braking, and generated electric power is regenerated on a supply power side (F). In a region in which speed of the actuator 4 is low, control force is applied by utilizing the energy stored by the regeneration of electric power (G), and active damping and hybrid operation which regenerates electric power are done (H).

摘要： PURPOSE:To provide a spring characteristic for the vertical loads by constituting with a base portion and paired arm pieces branching in two ways from the base portion, fixing ends of the arm pieces to the car body side, and connecting the base portion to the wheel shaft side member. CONSTITUTION:An FRP member 10 comprises a base portion 11 and paired arm pieces 12, 13 branching in two ways from the base portion 11, all as an integral member. The member 10 is formed in an approximate Y shape as a whole for example of a matrix resin 15 such as of epoxy family and continuous reinforcing fibers 16 arranged along the lengths of the arm pieces 12, 13. The ends 17, 18 to be fixed of the arm pieces 12, 13 are fixed to a car body side member with metallic brackets 20, 21. The brackets 20, 21 respectively comprises box portions 22, 23 respectively enclosing the ends 17, 18 of the arm pieces 12, 13, and base portions 26, 27 respectively having attachment holes 24, 25 through which bolts are inserted and secured to the body side members. Therefore, the arm pieces 12, 13 are constituted to avoid interference with the turning locus of a steering wheel 3.
