摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a material for ornamentation which is glittering, light-weight and superior in weather resistance, causes no skin allergy, has a photocatalyst function and is suitable as a material of jewelry, and to provide a manufacturing method thereof.
SOLUTION: A base 2 is rinsed with a neutral detergent and degreased with an alkaline solution. Next, it is pickled with a solution of a well-known inorganic acid, organic acid or inorganic base. Then, a hot-melt adhesive is applied/dried on one side of the base 2. At this point of time, an oxide film is deposited on the surface of the base 2 uncoated with the hot-melt adhesive. In the case when the color of this film is desirable, therefore, a subsequent anodizing treatment is not conducted, and a desired shape can be obtained by well-known machining. In the case when various coloration is desired, the base 2 to be processed is connected to an anode and immersed in an electrolyte and a voltage (0-120 V) is impressed. A processing time is about 1-100 seconds.
