SOLUTION: Air supplied from a pressurizing mechanism part 50 is supplied through a pressurizing pipe 56 into a heating container 22. Accompanying this operation, hot water in the heating container 22 is pushed up through a liquid passing pipe into an extraction chamber. When the extraction of coffee is completed in the extraction chamber, a discharging pipe 15 and a separating pipe 42 are communicated by a switching valve 41, and afterwards, air is supplied from a pressure control part 53 again, and hot water is further pushed up into the liquid passing pipe. Thus, the coffee liquid already existent in the extraction chamber is discharged through the discharging pipe 15 into a separation container 43.

Also, the percolator is provided with a section for percolating coffee liquid with unheated water which is equipped with a control device 190 which induces a hot-water-pouring mode in which the circulation pump 152 and a heater 154 to heat the circulating water are both turned on for a limited period of time at the early stage of the peculating operation in order to have hot water poured into the unit 120, and which thereafter induces an unheated-water-pouring mode in which only the circulation pump 152 is turned on for a given period of time to let unheated water pour into the extractor 120.
