    • PURPOSE:To control the cutting of pipe by means of a metal saw by carrying out feedback control on the number of revolutions of a spindle depending on variation in cutting resistance. CONSTITUTION:Depending on the cutting resistance that varies during machining, the number of revolutions of a spindle motor 9, i.e., the number of revolution of a pipe P can be variably controlled to the optimum value corresponding to the cutting resistance. Therefore, the relationship between the cutting resistance (the amount of metal saw 21 feed) and the number of revolution of the pipe can be always maintained at a certain optimum value regardless of the diameter, material, thickness, etc. of the pipe P. When the teeth of a metal saw 21 are worn off, a machine is prevented from being overloaded since the number of revolutions of the spindle motor 9 is automatically reduced because of increase in the cutting resistance.
    • 目的:通过对切削阻力的变化对主轴的转数进行反馈控制,通过金属锯来控制管道的切割。 构成:根据加工时的切削阻力,主轴马达9的转数,即管P的转数可以可变地控制在与切削阻力对应的最佳值。 因此,无论管道P的直径,材料,厚度等如何,切割阻力(金属锯21进给量)与管道的转数之间的关系始终保持在一定的最佳值。 当金属锯21的齿磨损时,由于切削阻力的增加,主轴马达9的转数自动减小,所以防止机器过载。

SOLUTION: The electric chuck opening/closing device 21 comprises the chuck 2 for gripping the workpiece, a conversion device 4 having an adjustment gear 3 on the periphery, a draw bar 5 for connecting the conversion device 4 and the chuck 2, a transmission gear 6 provided on the spindle 15, a second rotating shaft 7 rotatably pivotally supported so as to be parallel to the spindle 15, a first gear 8 and a second gear 9 rotatably provided on the second rotating shaft 7, an auxiliary motor 10 for driving the first gear 8, a first clutch 11 capable of connecting/releasing the auxiliary motor 10 with/from the second rotating shaft 7, and a second clutch 12 capable of connecting/releasing the second rotating shaft 7 with/from the second gear 9.
