    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain a display free from picture shift or the like and to determine a gravity direction by using the positional information of an optical correction means.
      SOLUTION: An exposed image from a CCD 101 is loaded repeatedly to each plane of an SDRAM 103 by turns and a latest image after loading is displayed. When a first image is forwarded, a previous image is displayed. In timing when forwarding begins, a next exposure is also started and a displayed image is switched as well. From a beginning point of a release of mechanical retention of an image-blur compensator, updating of the displayed image of an LCD monitor 1' is stopped. Switching of a next image and the forwarding of an exposed image from the CCD 101 to the SDRAM 103 are prohibited. From an ending point of the release of the mechanical retention, a next exposed image is forwarded from the CCD 101 to the SDRAM 103 and the updating of the displayed image to the image forwarded to the SDRAM 103 on a display apparatus is allowed. Hereby, it is possible to display an image without strangeness such as an image shift and so on when a retention is released, and at the same time it is also possible to determine the gravity direction by the information on the position of a retention mechanism.
