    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control an electro-mechanical apparatus efficiently.SOLUTION: An electro-mechanical apparatus has: an electro-magnetic coil; a PWM driving circuit for supplying a PWM driving signal to the electro-magnetic coil; and a controller for controlling the PWM driving circuit. The controller executes first control of setting an excitation section as a section in which the PWM driving signal is supplied to the electro-magnetic coil, and second control of changing the duty ratio of the PWM driving signal. The controller, in the first control, carries out lead angle control so that the phase of the center of the excitation section is put forward earlier than the value of a phase where the maximum value of a counter-electromotive force generated in the electro-magnetic coil is generated. In the second control, the duty ratio is increased so as to achieve a gain more than 100% when a gain at the time of generating a PWM driving signal that simulates a sine wave is defined as 100%.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor drive control apparatus in which control of drive up to the high-speed drive is achieved by a simple method in which the passage of current is controlled. SOLUTION: The motor drive control apparatus repetitively performs a cycle of passage of current in the positive direction, turning the current off, passage of current in the negative direction and turning the current off, in respect of a three-phase bridge circuit, and performs current passage phase adjustment such that, when the passage of current is turned off, the terminal voltage can be inverted. During high-speed drive, the motor drive control apparatus adjusts the phase so that the terminal voltage of the motor may be inverted immediately after the energization is cut off, and when the motor cannot achieve a desired speed of rotation, the motor driving controller exerts control to shorten the energization duration. Due to this structure, the motor drive control apparatus can advance the phase current relative to the voltage actually applied and can implement a rapid rotation by weak field driving. Similarly, when the applied voltage is large enough, the motor driving controller adjusts the phase so that the terminal voltage of the motor may be inverted immediately before the energization and adjusts the length of the energization duration so that the relationship between the phase at the time of energization cut-off and the phase at the time of terminal voltage inversion may be a desired one to optimize the application voltage and the current phase and implement driving of the motor with the maximum efficiency.
