    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hard disc device capable of reducing the time required for supplying disks to each of plural disk drives.SOLUTION: The hard disc device includes a carrier that holds plural disks being piled up, separates a sheet of disk out of the held plural disks above a tray ejected from any disk drive, and loads the separated disk onto the tray. The carrier includes: a spindle unit which is inserted into a center hole in each of the plural disks; a first supporting projection capable of supporting the inner periphery of the disk; and a second supporting projection formed upward higher by one sheet of disk than the first supporting projection so as to hold the inner periphery of the disk. The carrier is arranged so that the first supporting projection and the second supporting projection move forward and backward between the inside and the outside of the spindle unit to separate one disk out of the held plural disks.

      SOLUTION: The display apparatus and the disk playback apparatus perform character display utilizing a recording plane of a disk D as a reflection plane. In a playing back state of the disk, the disk is arranged so that a part of the disk is protruded from the playing back apparatus and exposed, light from a light source 10 is projected while utilizing a reflection plane being the protruded and exposed disk recording plane as a screen, and audio information of the disk D being reproduced is displayed by characters.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically return an engage projection, that is detached from an engage groove, to a regular position.
      SOLUTION: The disk device includes: a slider 60 which starts moving backward cooperatively with initial position returning operation of an optical pickup 30; a disk tray 20 which moves initially cooperatively with backward movement starting operation of the slider 60; an engage projection 65 which is engaged into an engage groove 25; a guide groove 26 which is continued to the engage groove 25; and an entering/leaving operation driving mechanism 21 for the disk tray. An opening 28 is formed in a part of the guide groove 26. The initial movement of the disk tray 20 at a time when the engage projection 65 is detached from the engage groove 25, allows a rack 23 of the entering/leaving operation driving mechanism 21 to be engaged with a pinion 22, and the slider 60 performs backward movement starting operation cooperatively with the initial position returning operation of the optical pickup 30. The leaving operation of the disk tray 20 is performed in parallel with the backward movement of the slider 60 so as to lead the engage projection 65 from the opening 28 to the guide groove 26.
