摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suggest a dot pattern formation medium capable of defining code information and XY coordinate information even in a minimum region.SOLUTION: The dot pattern includes: a prescribed number of dots arranged horizontally at equal intervals; a prescribed number of dots arranged vertically at equal intervals from the dots located at endpoints of the dots arranged horizontally; and an information dots in which intersections between vertical lines virtually set from the dots arranged horizontally and horizontal lines virtually set horizontally from the dots arranged vertically are specified as lattice points and data content is defined by how deviated from the lattice points. One of the dots arranged vertically means the direction of the dot pattern by how deviated from the original positions of the dots.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique with which each of plural two-dimensional codes included in an image is specified and time required for color determination processing for each cell area of each of the specified two-dimensional codes is reduced.SOLUTION: On the basis of an edge image generated from an obtained image (original image), a candidate area in the edge image is extracted, it is determined whether a distinctive pattern is included in each area in the original image corresponding to the extracted candidate area, and then a two-dimensional code area is detected in the original image. When each pixel of the detected two-dimensional code area is subjected to color determination processing, the determination processing is performed for each pixel group composing each line of the area, and the color determination processing is performed for each pixel in the arrangement order. When each line corresponding to each cell area is determined that a predetermined number or more of the pixels are included in a color determination area, the other pixels in the line are not subjected to the color determination processing.
