摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a position indicator in which a housing is prevented from being applied with direct stress and that can be made thinner than conventional position indicators.SOLUTION: A position indicator includes a holder accommodated in a hollow part of a cylindrical housing with a housing axis core direction in a longitudinal direction. The holder includes: a core body engagement part that holds a core body and engages with the core body so as to restrict the movement of the core body in a tip direction; a component arrangement part in which a pressure-sensitive component is arranged in the axis core direction so as to receive pressing force applied to the core body; and a printed board mounting part with and to which a printed board is engaged and mounted with a printed board longitudinal direction in the axis core direction. The core body engagement part and the component arrangement part hold the core body and the pressure-sensitive component so that their central positions match each other at a predetermined position. With the housing accommodating the holder holding the core body and the pressure-sensitive component and having the printed board mounted thereon, and pressing force from the core body being detected by a circuit element on the printed board, detection of the pressing force can be made.

摘要： A retention member holds a tip of a pen received in an inner space of a unit body through an opening. A narrowed path member is placed within the inner space at a position between a large-diameter member of the pen and the opening, when the retention member holds the pen. The large-diameter member expands outward from the outer peripheral surface of the pen by a predetermined amount. The narrowed path member contacts the large-diameter member when the pen is released from the retention member, and creates enough interference to prevent the pen from falling out of the unit body, but otherwise allows the pen to be drawn out of the opening.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To securely fix a stylus in a storage hole.SOLUTION: A stylus used in a computing device includes an elongated shaft 62, a tip, and a fixing device 66 attached to the elongated shaft. The fixing device is designed to interact with a protrusion 72 on the interior surface of a storage hole of a computing device where the stylus is to be stored. The fixing device can be formed of a deformable elastic material such as a memory foam. As the stylus is inserted into the storage hole 30 of the computing device, the material of the fixing device deforms as it passes the fixing protrusion on the interior surface of the storage hole. Once the fixing device has been inserted past the protrusion, the elastic material of the fixing device resumes its original shape so that it will interfere with the protrusion to prevent the stylus from being accidentally removed from the storage hole.

摘要： A portable terminal apparatus with TV function and a TV antenna with function as an input pen, in which the TV antenna is integrated with the input pen for the touch panel while ensuring sufficient sensitivity so that the internal space of the apparatus is effectively utilized, thus rendering the apparatus smaller and lighter.
