    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a machine tool controller for enabling an operator to much more easily specify the cause of the abnormal end of a machine tool, and to much more easily perform a restoration operation from the occurrence of any abnormality.
      SOLUTION: A control means is able to decide whether or not the operation of an element corresponding to the detecting means has been completed based on a detection signal from a detecting means. A display means is able to display the three-dimensional shape model and process order information of the machine tool performing a simulating operation. When the abnormality of the machine tool is detected based on an abnormality detecting means, the control means extracts an element to be operated the next to the previous element whose operation has been finished or the element whose operation has not been finished from a ladder circuit corresponding to the process where the abnormality is detected, and specifies the detecting means corresponding to the extracted element or mobile parts corresponding to the detecting means, and identifiably displays it in a three-dimensional shape model displayed at the display means.
