    • PURPOSE:To detect sensibly a humidity and to use the titled detecting body for a long term without the scattering of the particles by gathering and combining a large number of porous particles containing the humidity detecting material and forming the combined material in the prescribed shape. CONSTITUTION:The porous particles such as silica gel are thrown into an aqueous solution of the humidity detecting material (e.g. cobalt chloride), and the humidity detecting material is impregnated into fine pores of the porous particles. Next, this is fed in hot wind dryer, etc. to dry the particles and the water is evaporated. Adhesive is mixed with the porous particles to which the detecting material is impregnated and adhered in such a way, and are fed in the prescribed mold, hardened and made in a block shape, cut and formed into an arbitrary shape.
