摘要： The invention provides an apparatus and method for efficiently analyzing nitropolycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon contained in diesel particulates. The invention comprises a step of extracting soluble organic fraction from diesel particulates contained in the exhaust of a diesel engine using a solvent, a step of concentrating and drying the extraction obtained by the extraction step, and a step of separating and extracting the solution via high-performance liquid chromatograph, wherein the separation step via the high-performance liquid chromatograph comprises a separation step using a silica gel/C8 column, a reduction step using an alumina/Pt-Rh reduction column, and a separation step using an ODS column, and further comprises a subsequent step of quantifying the nitropolycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon using a fluorescence detector.

SOLUTION: This method has a process for extracting an organic soluble component from the diesel particles included in exhaust gas from a diesel engine by a solvent, a process for concentrating/drying extracted liquid acquired in the extraction process, a dissolution process for dissolving by methanol a material acquired by drying, and a process for separating/extracting the dissolved liquid by a high-performance liquid chromatograph. In the method, the separation process by the high-performance liquid chromatograph has a separation process by silica gel/C8 column, a reduction process by alumina/Pt-Rh reduction column, a separation process by an ODS column, and thereafter a process for quantitating the nitro polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons by a fluorescence detector 160.

SOLUTION: This method of determining the quantity of red phosphorus in a resin has processes of: performing thermal decomposition GCMS measurement on a prescribed separation condition to find hold time A of red phosphorus; finding a peak intensity ratio B by performing thermal decomposition GCMS measurement on a measuring specimen to confirm the detection of a peak of a mass spectrum within the same hold time as the hold time A, and dividing the measured peak area value by the amount of a specimen; confirming that the height of a peak of m/z=62 is 1.82-2.06 and the height of a peak of m/z=93 is 1.03-1.15 by assuming the height of a peak of m/z=124 to be 10; finding a relation between a peak intensity ratio C and a red phosphorus content on each of a plurality of standard specimens on the same separation condition; and also finding the amount of red phosphorus in the measuring specimen from this relation and the comparison to the intensity ratio B therewith.
