    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To compatibly materialize, at high level, inhibition of adhesion of deposit in an intake passage caused by take-away of oil to the intake passage and inhibition of oil deterioration by early treatment of blow-by gas existing in a crank case.
      SOLUTION: A total amount ΣA of engine oil carried from a crankcase 10 into an intake passage 3 by blow-by gas from the start of the use of the engine 1 is calculated. Determination processing is performed to determine whether the total oil carried amount ΣA is greater or less than an optimum value KX at the point of time every 100 km increase of travel distance of an automobile.
