    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for spinning with which production of yarns in yarn pick-up spinning can surely be carried out and the percentage of success in ending is resultantly improved. SOLUTION: The method for spinning is carried out as follows. A fed sliver 1 is drafted at a prescribed draft ratio and a yarn is produced using a turning air stream of a nozzle member in a usual spinning state with a spinning member composed of a nozzle member 17 having a nozzle hole 16d and a hollow guide shaft body 19. Compressed air is jetted from an auxiliary nozzle 19e formed in the hollow guide shaft body 19 in addition to the turning air stream during ending operation to produce suction force from an opening 19h formed at the tip of the hollow guide shaft body 19 toward a yarn discharge port 19g to thereby carry out the yarn pick-up spinning. In the method for spinning, the draft ratio during the yarn pick-up spinning is changed from that in the usual spinning state.     • PURPOSE:A backward feeding device of a seed yarn, having a structure in which a backward feeding device is constituted of two parts, one thereof being always stationarily fixed on a twisting nozzle, the other being engages with the above-mentioned part only in backward feeding, and capable of being mounted easily on an accurate position in backward feeding without being a hindrance in twisting. CONSTITUTION:A backward feeding device for backward feeding and passing a seed yarn through a pneumatic twisting nozzle 4 for fasciated spinning is constituted of two parts. One part 11 thereof is almost of fan shape, and a yarn passage wall (11a) of circuit arc cross section is formed in an important position. The part 11 is always stationarily fixed on the outlet side of the pneumatic twisting nozzle 4. The other part 12 has a fan-shaped cut capable of being engaged with the part 11 and further a yarn passage wall (13a) forming a yarn passage of circular cross section with the yarn passage wall (11a). The yarn passage wall (13a) is provided with an air jetting hole (13b) for jetting air from the surface of the wall (13a) in the backward feeding direction of the seed yarn.
