    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process for finishing fibrous products with an admixture based on an aqueous dispersion of polychloroprene; a process for preparing textile-reinforced and fiber-reinforced concrete; and other cement-based products including those finished products. SOLUTION: The method for reinforcing concrete comprises incorporating fibrous products immersed in the admixture, which contains, by weight, (a) 20-99% aqueous dispersion based on polychloroprene and (b) 1-80% aqueous suspension based on an inorganic solid selected from oxides, carboxides and silicates, optionally (c) a polymer dispersing material selected from polyacrylate, polyacetate, polyurethane, polyurea, rubber and epoxide and optionally (d) an additive and auxiliary agent selected from a resin, stabilizer, antioxidant, crosslinking agent, crosslinking promotor, filler, thickening agent and bactericide, with the proviso that the total weight percentage of (a) and (b) is 100 wt.% based on the weight of nonvolatile components.
