    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for forming and tempering a glass plate, which can carry out high-frequency heating and cooling of the glass plate according to its shape while conveying the glass plate.SOLUTION: The apparatus 1A for forming and tempering a glass plate has a conveyer 2 to convey a glass plate W2 on a reference plane S, a heater to heat the glass plate formed into a curved shape, and a cooler 6 to cool the glass plate by spraying a cooling medium on both surfaces in the thickness direction of the plate glass, wherein the heater has an electrode section 12 having electrodes 16, 17 to apply a high frequency wave to the glass plate to heat the glass plate, a power source 13 to apply a high frequency voltage to the electrodes, and an electrode arrangement regulator 14 capable of regulating distances of the electrodes to the reference plane; and the cooler has a nozzle section 25 which has a plurality of nozzles 30, 31 provided on their front ends with an opening 24, and is arranged with the openings facing both the surfaces in the thickness direction of the glass plate, and a discharging unit to discharge the cooling medium from the openings of the nozzles; and the electrode section, the nozzles and the conveyer are electrically insulated.
