    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water treatment apparatus where the quality of water to be treated can be made constant by feeding a compound produced by electrolytic treatment.
      SOLUTION: The water to be treated in a water storage tank 2 is circulated between the water storage tank 2 and an electrolytic cell 1 by using a pump 31 for circulation. In the electrolytic cell 1, hypochlorous acid is produced by electrolytic treatment with electrodes 3 and 4. The produced hypochlorous acid is introduced into the water storage tank 2, and is used for the sterilization of the water to be treated. The water to be treated in the electrolytic cell 1 is introduced into the water storage tank 2 or into a drain 3 without being introduced into the water storage tank 2 by the control of a first cross valve 16. For a prescribed time from the performance of the change in polarities between the electrode 3 and the electrode 4, the water to be treated in the electrolytic cell 1 is introduced into a drain 30 for evading the introduction of impurities stuck to the surfaces of the electrodes into the water storage tank 2.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for culturing fish and shellfish and a closed circulating culture system enabling a highly effective sterilization of pathogenic virus, a highly effective decomposition of ammonia and nitric acid ions, reduction of installing space, reduction of production cost and improvement of yield of the cultured fish and shellfish. SOLUTION: The method enables a highly effective and cost-reduced culture of the fish and shellfish in a culture system of from small to large scale by connecting an electrolyzing line 20 to a culturing tank 12, and automatically controlling the processing capacity of an AC electrolyzing equipment by controlling the inverter power supply 34 with a controller 30 responding to the electrical signals of a pH sensor 4 for culturing water, an ammonia sensor 26 and a nitric acid sensor 28.
