Then, the copying machine initiate the feed of A3 size sheets and turned off the BCR signal, and the sorter 19 determines the loading number of papers per bin in accordance with the size of the papers, and counts down the content of a loading counter while the number of papers stored in the bin is added. When 25 pieces of the sheets are stored in one of bind, the content of the counter becomes zero while the bin ascends, and the content of the counter is set in accordance with the size of sheets while the 25 pieces of remaining sheets are stored in the second bin. Further, when the copying machine completes the copying operation for 50 pieces of first original copies, the sorter ascends by one bin to precisely repeat the sorting of sheets.
