    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily perform switching operation when switching seat back's positions from its usable position to its storing position wherein the seat back is laid on a seat cushion with a headrest stored even if a structure is provided which causes an uncomfortable feeling to the occupant who uses the headrest in a non-suitable seating state. SOLUTION: In the seat back 20 of a vehicular seat 1, a handle 60 is provided which is mounted in the seat back 20 so as to switch between a first position which does not interfere with the occupant who leans back in the seat back 20 and a second position which does so. When the handle 60 is switched from the first position to the second position, the positions of the headrest 40 are switched from the usable position to the storing position in association with the switching operation. On the other hand, when the handle 60 is switched from the second position to the first position, the positions of the headrest 40 are switched from the storing position to the usable position in association with the switching operation.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular seat device capable of reducing a torso angle when lowering a headrest and maintaining a satisfactory seating property in a usual condition. SOLUTION: This vehicular seat device is constituted by attaching a rotary pressing member 36 to a part below an elevating mechanism 30 supporting the headrest 28 to rise and lower and rotate the rotary pressing member 36 around a pin 38. When lowering the headrest 28 from a seated condition into a storing condition, a lower end 34B of a stay 34 hits a pressing plate part 36P to rotate the rotary pressing member 36 and press a seat back supporting face 16S forward from an inner side of a seat back 16 and displace it. Since the seat back 16 is deformed to reduce the torso angle TA and a shape of the headrest 28 is not affected by it, this vehicular seat device has a shape capable of achieving excellent seating property.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a headrest assembly that includes a head support connected to a rail that is mounted to a housing so as to be adjustable.
      SOLUTION: The headrest assembly is provided with a head support 14 connected to a rail 56, and the rail 56 is adjustably mounted to a housing 12. Therefore, the headrest assembly is movable between a use position and a stow position. A lock member 20 is engaged with the rail 56 in the use position and operably disengaged from rail 56 to initiate movement from the use position to the stow position. Specifically, when the lock member 20 is disengaged from the rail 56, the rail is biased to the stow position, and the headrest assembly 10 is moved from the use position to the stow position. The headrest assembly 10 is also coordinated into a seat assembly such that the movement of a seatback 68 from a use position to a stow position concurrently causes the headrest assembly 10 to move from the use position to the stow position.
