    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pad for a leaf spring that prevents the leaf spring from the breakage due to wear.
      SOLUTION: A curved surface section 123 having a curved surface-shaped cross-section is formed in a recess 121 in a pad 110. The curved surface section 123 has a contact section 123A which is, in an initial state of a leaf spring, in contact with a tension surface of the leaf spring which is located opposed to the contact section 123A. The thickness of the curved surface section 123 decreases from the contact section 123A toward ends of the curved surface section 123, and this separates the ends from the tension surface of the leaf spring. In the pad 110, the curved surface section 123 in the recess 121 is configured to a height which avoids contact between the tension surface and corners of the ends of the curved surface section 123 when an end of the leaf spring is at a maximum stroke position. The tension surface of the leaf spring does not wear through contact thereof with the ends of the curved surface section 123.
