    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for covering a unit or a device in a processing line having a plurality of machines by which a free approach to the machine can be selectively realized from one operating side or an operating side opposed thereto. SOLUTION: The apparatus for covering the unit or the machine (2) in the processing line (1) for producing printed products which includes the plurality of machines (2) includes a cover device (5) provided on the machine (2) and fixed to a machine frame (3). The cover device (5) can be turned to an opening position or a closing position by a hinge (4).
