    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To connect adjacent deck members installed in a longitudinal direction without forming a joint width.     • PURPOSE:To enable the bonding of a rubber member to metal housings to be improved even without treatment to the rubber member, by vulcanizing the rubber member partially and applying a thermoplastic or thermosetting adhesive to the surface of the rubber member. CONSTITUTION:A rubber member 6 is vulcanized partially, a thermoplastic or thermosetting adhesive 7 is applied to the surface of the rubber member 6, then the rubber member 6 is heat-treated thereby vulcanizing the rubber member 6 completely and drying the adhesive 7. Then the rubber member 6 is forced between metal housings 1, 3, and they are heated to set the adhesive 7 to join the rubber member 6 to the metal housings 1, 3. Since the thermoplastic or thermosetting adhesive is applied to the surface of the rubber member in a half vulcanized state followed by drying, the bonding strength of the adhesive to the rubber member can be increased.
