摘要： PURPOSE:To prevent failure, etc., of the metal molds of a powder molding press and to obtain molded goods having improved safety and stable quality by checking the relative positions of the respective metal molds in a stage before pressurization even if there are errors in metal mold production, input error of data, etc. CONSTITUTION:The press, is set at a metal mold checking position mode. The bottom end face of a holder 203 is placed atop 3a of a die and a measuring element 205 of a dial gage 204 is brought into contact with the top end faces of the first, second, third lower punches 51, 52, 53 of a lower punch unit 5 and a core rod 54. The positions of the top end faces of the respective first, second, third lower punches 51, 52, 53 of the lower punch unit 5 and the core rod 54 from the front surface 3a of the die are measured. The erroneous differences are inputted from a controller if there are the errors from the set values. The first and second lower punches 51, 52 and the core rod 54 are then slightly moved upward and downward and the front end positions are so adjusted that the front end positions are made flush with the top end face of the third lower punch 53.

摘要： PURPOSE:To prevent the cracking of a molding by previously determining the difference in compression strain quantity between respective lower punches in a pressuring stroke and vertically moving the respective lower punches according to the difference in the strain quantity, thereby maintaining the specified relative positions. CONSTITUTION:The molding W is made into a circular columnar shape stacked with disks. The differences between the respective heights of a 1st step part W1, 2nd step part W2, and 3rd step part W3 are designated as h. The packing depths of the powder to be compressed are respectively set at 6h, 4h, 2h. The upper punch 4 is lowered by 3h, the 1st lower punch 11 is lowered by 2h and the 2nd lower punch 12 is lowered by 1h in the state of fixing the 3rd lower punch 13 from the point of the time when the upper punch 4 is lowered to arrive at the front surface 1A of the die. The molding W is extruded from the die 1 upon completion of pressurization. The differences between the strain quantities delta1, delta2, delta3 are previously determined and the respective lower punches 11, 12, 13 are vertically moved according to the differences in the strains, by which the specific relative positions of the respective lower punches 11, 12, 13 are maintained.

摘要： PURPOSE:To allow easy adjustment even if the size of a molding varies by providing a holder which is mounted adjustably in vertical movement to a float plate for supporting a float punch. CONSTITUTION:A nut 16 mounted to the outer circumferential part of a holder is rotated and the holder 15 is raised when the molding is changed. An ejector screw 11 is then lowered until a 1st punch and a 2nd punch 14 are positioned flush with each other upon completion of ejection. On the other hand, a cylinder rod 26a is raised by turning the thread part 26d of a worm gear device 26c. The easy adjustment is executed in this way even if the size of the molding changes.
