    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device to lock a blade at a rotor. SOLUTION: A blade is locked in a groove 14 by forming a blind hole such that notches 4 and 5, coinciding with each other, formed in the surfaces, positioned facing each other, of a blade root part 3 and a groove 14 formed in the periphery of a turbo type machine. During assembly, a pin 8 with a slot in a radial direction is fitted in the blind hole to block axial movement of the blade root part. By rotating the pin, the slot 18 thereof is aligned with a slot 16 formed along the length of a rotor groove. A hold strip 12 is slid in the slot of the rotor groove, the holding strip is extended through the slot of the radial pin, and the end part 22 in a prebent state of the hold strip is brought into contact with one phase of a rotor. A tub 21 formed at the other end of the hold strip is bent and brought into contact with the different phase of the rotor to lock the hold strip in a home position. During disassembly, one of the tubs of the hold strip is straightly stretched and the hold strip is slid and taken out. The pin is then pulled out and this way removes the blade.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the efficiency of an intercooler-integrated axial flow compressor with simplicity in its structure added and no increase in its manufacturing costs by providing a cooling means in a gas passage through which gas circulates in the operation of the compressor, which receives cooling water therein and absorbs heat from circulating gas to cool the gas in the operation of the compressor. SOLUTION: In its normal operation an axial flow compressor 320, typically of an intercooler-integrated type, inducts atmospheric air or gas and produces compressed gas 322. In its compression process gas 322 is cooled inside the axial flow compressor 320 by cooling water 372 led thereinto from a cooling tower 370. The cooling water 372 is made to pass through one or more stator blade assemblies, or an air-towater heat exchanger or a recuperative heat exchanger 360 disposed in the gas passage for the axial flow compressor 320. The heat exchanger 360 also inducts cooling water and absorbs heat from gas passing therethrough in the operation of the compressor 320. The compressed gas is thus continuously intercooled with a simple structure.
