SOLUTION: A cap 1 made of a synthetic resin is constituted so that a cap main body 4 consisting of a top plate part 2 and the cylindrical part 3 suspended from the peripheral edge thereof is provided and a cylindrical part is partitioned into the main part 8 above a weakening line and the TE ring part 9 thereunder by a weakening line 7 and a screw part 10 is formed to the inner wall surface of the main part and a plurality of engaging projections 11 possible to rise and fall are provided to the inner wall surface of the TE ring part. In this case, the annular elastic projection 12 extending downward from the peripheral edge of the top plate part to any position up to the upper end part of the cylindrical part and the annular seal projection 13 of which the leading end part extends from the interior of the elastic projection toward the inner wall of the cylindrical part and has flexibility are integrally provided with the top plate part.

The container is provided with an annular projection 12 to be abutted on the tip of the tabs in the folded condition with its tip directed upward in the condition in which the synthetic resin cap is fitted to the outer circumference of the upper end part of a mouth part 11A, and a tab opening part 13 to press the tip of the tab downward when the cap fitted to the mouth part of the container is turned in the circumferential direction is provided on the annular projection.
