摘要： PURPOSE:To easily prepare a metal frame sufficiently protecting and reinforcing the outer edge of the cover of a binder and having various patterns applied thereto by applying a synthetic resin to the surface of a steel strip over the entire length thereof to in the coated steel strip into a hoop shape and subsequently cutting the wound steel strip to apply processing and molding to the cut one so as to have a semicircular are shape cross-section to subject the same to bending processing in the longitudinal direction. CONSTITUTION:A synthetic resin is applied to the entire surface of a steel strip having predetermined width over the entire length thereof and the coated steel strip is wound into a hoop shape. Thereafter, this hoop 2 is sent to a stopper 6 to be cut into a predetermined length by a cutting press 4. Next, the cut material (a) is transported to a roll processing machine 11 to be subjected to roll molding by a grooved roller 11a and the roller 11b having the ridges fitted in the grooves of the roller 1a. The linear material (a) subjected to roll molding is sent to a stopper 13 and processed into a cover ring 20 having a horizontal U-shape cross-section by a bending mold 12.
