    • PURPOSE:To provide a label printer device which can be jointly used for an indirect type label pasting line for which a robot, etc., is used, and a direct type label pasting line by a pasting roller, etc., by forming the label printer device in such a manner that respective adherent labels which are pasted on a band shaped support paper are printed, and then, each adherent label is peeled from the support paper and fed for labeling. CONSTITUTION:A band shaped support paper 3, on which adherent labels 2 are pasted, is let out from a winding roll 3a, and each adherent label 2 is printed by a line thermal printer 6, and the moving direction of the band shaped support paper 3 is converted by a peeling edge 7 to peel the printed adherent label 2 from the support paper 3 and push out forward, for the title label printer device. Also, a peeling-receiving table 12, on which the adherent label 2 is placed, is provided in front of the peeling edge 7, and the peeling-receiving table 12 and the peeling edge 7 are constituted in such a manner that they are integrally convertible between a horizontal posture and a front-down tilted posture.

    • PURPOSE:To measure a sheet on line by detecting the transmittance of each of three or more polarized lights of different directions of polarization and calculating the retardation from the detecting output. CONSTITUTION:A retardation measuring apparatus is provided with a sample part 1 where a sample S passes, a light source part 2, a filter part 3, a polarizing part 4, an analyzing part 5 and a photodetecting part 6 for photoelectrically converting the intensity of the light passing the analyzer. In the light source part 2, a plurality of small light sources 21-26 are arranged with an interval of equal angles on the circumference to project parallel luminous fluxes of the same cross section. The direction of polarization of polarizers of the polarizing part 4 is shifted every 30 deg.. Supposing that a polarizer 41 is in the direction of 0 deg., the polarizers 42-46 are set respectively in the direction of polarization of +30 deg. to +150 deg. in the counterclockwise direction. The analyzers 51-56 of the analyzing part 6 hold a predetermined relationship of polarization with the corresponding polarizers of the polarizing part 4 on the same optical axis. Detecting elements 61-66 of the detecting part 6 are set on a holding plate 60 corresponding to the respective positions of the optical axis. An input signal processing part 7 amplifies and A/D converts each detecting output and guides to a data processing part. Various kinds of operations are executed including the calculation of the retardation from the basic data and measured data stored in a memory 10 in accordance with an operational program.

    • PURPOSE:To markedly improve recording image quality and recording sensitivity, in the title image receiving sheet receiving a transfer image from a color transfer sheet, by providing an intermediate layer containing polyvinyl alcohol resin having a specific polymerization degree between the image receiving layer and the support. CONSTITUTION:An image receiving sheet for thermal transfer recording useful for a recording system thermally transferring a colorant, especially, a heat- sublimable dye is obtained by providing an image receiving layer receiving a transfer image from a color transfer sheet on a support. In this image receiving sheet, an intermediate layer containing a polyvinyl alcohol resin with a polymerization degree of 50-450 is provided between the image receiving layer and the support. By this constitution, a recording image of high image quality excellent in recording sensitivity and extremely excellent in resolving power, sharpness, color density and missing dot resistance is obtained. The polyvinyl alcohol resin is obtained by hydrolyzing a vinyl acetate resin obtained by controlling its polymerization degree becoming essential so as to have a necessary saponification degree.

    • PURPOSE:To simplify editing of printing information, particularly of fixed section at printing so as to print at a high speed. CONSTITUTION:A printer comprises a main memory which stores printing information by dividing it into a multiple fixed-part identification section, a fixed section, and a variable section, a means for distinguishing the printing information into the multiple fixed-part identification section, the fixed section, and the variable section, and a bit pattern storing buffer memory having a plurality of memory areas distinguished at every page. At printing, a fixed-part identification information of a desired page is read out from the main memory. It is identified whether or not a fixed section corresponding to the buffer memory exists. When the fixed section does not exist, it is read out from the main memory and developed with bit and stored in the buffer memory. Thereafter, a desired pattern is read out on occasion from a plurality of fixed-part bit pattern stored in the buffer so as to print together with the various section.
