摘要： PURPOSE:To prevent the wear and breakage of a nozzle due to contact between the nozzle and a work by comparing a measured separation distance by means of a measuring means with a set separation distance by means of a setting means, stopping separation drive by means of a drive device when the two distances coincide with each other. CONSTITUTION:A pulse from a pulse generator 44 is added to a counter 52, and its counted value and the value of a set separation distance inputted and set at a pulse number setter 53 beforehand through an NC system 55 are compared with each other by means of a comparator 47, and when the two agree with each other, the output of the comparator 47 becomes OFF, and a relay E is demagnetized, and a relay D is also demagnetized due to the opening of a contact point (e), and a motor 5A is stopped. That is, a nozzle 7 is set, in regard to a work 18, at an interval equivalent to the separation distance of a value set at the pulse number setter 53. Accordingly, by inputting and setting by means of a numerical value or the like from the NC system 55 to the pulse number setter 53 a separation distance equivalent to a desired interval, a space between the nozzle 7 and the work 18 can be set rapidly and surely at a desired suitable value suited for a machining condition.
